Update 450,000 New Testaments „Book of Hope" for Gothenburg

Dear mission friends, On Wednesday, August 27, we successfully completed our work in the city and county of Gothenburg. We distributed 450,000 Books of Hope (NT) and 65,000 children's Bibles in Gothenburg.

Göteborg 2025

Im Juli war es soweit: Wir starteten unsere Verteilung in Göteborg, der zweitgrößten Stadt Schwedens.
Gemeinsam mit mehreren Teams aus Deutschland und einem Team aus den USA gelang es uns,
über 300.000 Exemplare des Neuen Testaments (Buch der Hoffnung) sowie etwa 45.000 Exemplare
des Buches der Hoffnung zu verteilen.

Gothenburg 2025

In July, the time had come: we started our distribution in Gothenburg, Sweden's second largest city. Together with several teams from Germany and one team from the USA, we managed to distribute over 300,000 copies of the New Testament (Book of Hope) and around 45,000 copies of the Book of Hope.

TThe distribution campaign is progressing well. In June, we had the opportunity to continue distributing Bibles together with several teams from Germany.

Update 05/2025

In May, with support from Germany and our core team, we had the opportunity to spread the gospel in other cities in Sweden. These included the city of Falkenberg and other parts of the province of Halland.

Update 04/2025

500,000 NTs have already been dispatched, with 130,000 completed in July alone.

Among other the city of Jönköping, with a population of 93,797 residents, has been finalized.

The Bible distribution campaign in Sweden continues

We are now confidently approaching the fifth chapter. In 2025, our goal is to distribute The Book of Hope NT and The Book of Hope for Children across Blekinge, Halland, and all of Gothenburg. For this summer's Bible mission, we require approximately 800,000 copies of the “Book of Hope NT” and about 125,000 copies of “The Book of Hope for Children.” The total investment is estimated to be around €1,050,000. As of now, we have received approximately €180,000 for this year's Bible distribution campaign.

For Gothenburg alone, 500,000 NT Bibles and 75,000 children's Bibles are needed. It is a mighty commission from God to bring the Gospel to an entire country. But we have experienced the hand of God so powerfully that we dare to go further to reach new areas in Sweden with the Gospel for young and old.

Biblemovement in Sweden 2025

The Bible distribution campaign is planned for next year in the federal states of Halland, parts of Västergötland and Blekinge as well as in the city of Gothenburg.

The biggest challenge here will be the city of Gothenburg with its 604,000 inhabitants.

We are currently preparing to print the first 400,000 New Testaments at a Christian printing company in Japan. Next year, we plan to distribute a total of 800,000 New Testaments and 120,000 children's Bibles. This will require over €1.2 million

Biblemovement in Sweden 2024

We are thankful for this past year. In just six months, we have distributed 620,000 NTs and 96,000 children's Bibles, thanks to the support of around 800 volunteers from various churches and the Bible Mission.

This year, we also welcomed a youth choir from Lemgo, who captivated us with their performance of the “Prodigal Son.”

Additionally, this group dedicated three days to distributing Bibles and sharing their songs in the marketplaces of Orust.

You can support our mission through prayer and by funds -for spreading Bibles in Europe. Help us to print and to build up a stock of Bibles in various languages for refugees from different countries, coming to Europe. Bible for the Nations print NT´s in many european languages, but also in many other languages, as farsi, arabic,somali, urdu and so on. We have a serten time in Europe – where we free can give out the Word of God – to every man. This is a time to act!
