Vom 17. bis 19. Februar 2026 durften wir von Bible for the Nations gemeinsam mit verschiedenen Gemeinden aus der Region einen Straßeneinsatz in der Mindener Innenstadt durchführen. Unsere Idee war es, mitten in der Stadt einen Platz aufzusuchen, um dort warme Getränke, Kekse sowie ausgewählte Bibeln in verschiedenen Sprachen zu verschenken. Ein Pavillon bot dabei etwas Schutz vor dem winterlichen Wetter.
Am Dienstag begannen wir zunächst zu zweit. Trotz starken Regens schenkte der Herr, dass viele unterschiedliche Menschen anhielten, um sich aufzuwärmen und mit uns ins Gespräch zu kommen. Wir durften sowohl mit Jugendlichen als auch mit Obdachlosen das Evangelium teilen. Schon am ersten Tag erlebten wir, wie Gott Herzen öffnet – selbst im strömenden Regen.

This month, we received the wonderful news that two women in the Gothenburg area came to faith in Jesus through the Book of Hope, and that contact with local churches has also been established.
In addition, we learned that an inmate in a prison asked the prison chaplain to pray the prayer of commitment with him. He said that he was now ready to take this step. In the same prison, a female prison guard also asked the chaplain for a Book of Hope (New Testament). She began reading it and likewise made contact with a local church. On Sunday, January 25, she was baptized.
It is worthwhile to pass on the eternal Word of God to people. The Word is effective, and through it people find eternal life in Jesus Christ.

We are facing a significant financial challenge. Yet time and again we see how God sustains us as a small Bible mission organization. For February, we need approximately €70,000. This amount is for the printing costs of the New Testaments and the children’s Bibles. We are grateful for every small and large donation.
