2024 was a year in which the Word of God reached a further 620,000 households in Sweden. In addition, 96,000 children's Bibles have reached children, immigrants and refugees. From March 11 to the second week of September, local church members worked with around 870 Christians from different churches in Germany.
When we look back on all these blessings, all this joy and also on conversations with people who made contact because they received the Book of Hope in their letterbox, we can only say that it is worthwhile to spread God's Word in homes. When we then summarize the joy that has been given in the homes of God in many places where they may only be a small struggling band, we are filled with gratitude. The blessing has also come to the people of God in the form of renewed joy, encouragement and strength.
Now we look boldly into the fifth chapter. In 2025, we plan to distribute the Book of Hope NT and the Book of Hope for Children in Blekinge, Halland and all of Gothenburg. For this summer's Bible mission, we need around 800,000 “Book of Hope NT” and around 125,000 “The Book of Hope for Children”. The total investment will be around €1,050,000. As of the writing date, around €180,000 has been received for this year's Bible distribution campaign. For Gothenburg alone, 500,000 NT Bibles and 75,000 children's Bibles are needed. It is a tremendous commission from God to give a whole country
