The room fills with children arriving full of excitement and anticipation. Everyone squeezes in a little here and makes room there so that all can find a place inside. Once everyone is settled, the Christmas message is illustrated for the children, showing why Jesus had to come into the world. Songs are sung together, and a few games are played.
At the end of the event, the children’s eyes light up as they receive their gifts. Together with our partner, the Bible Mission, we were able to distribute 10,000 children’s Bibles along with the Christmas presents at such events. Some of the children immediately began flipping through their Bibles, while others hurried home to open their gifts.
Please pray for these children and their parents — that the seed of the message will grow and that they may experience the grace of God.
